校园犯罪 & Fire Statistics Report
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus 安全 Policy and 校园犯罪 Statistics Act is a federal law that directs colleges and universities to disclose information about crime on and around their campuses. It requires colleges and universities to do everything from developing security policies to issuing crime alerts to keeping daily crime logs.
The goal of the law and its disclosure requirements “is to provide students and their families, as higher education consumers, 与准确, complete and timely information about safety on campus so they can make informed decisions,” according to a federal report.
Clery Act Annual Report
One of the main provisions in the Clery Act requires colleges and universities to publish an annual crime report. JC complies by publishing the annual Campus 安全 Report, which presents statistics for crimes reported to the Office of 校园安全 and 安全 during the last three years.
